Require Custom Fields for Ticket Types

Require custom fields, such as Patient ID or Vehicle ID, on tickets that have a custom ticket type.

To set a field to required:

  1. From the top, right corner of the platform, click Settings .
  2. From the left navigation, click Actions.
  3. On the Ticket Types tab, click to edit a field (or add a new one).
  4. Set the Mandatory property to True.
  5. Click Save.

The next time a ticket type is applied that uses the selected field, the user must complete the field before saving the ticket.
